Portraits of 1 person usually show the head and part of the shoulders/upper body
2 People
Portraits of 2 people usually show the heads and part of the upper bodies.
Animals
Portraits of animals can either show the entire animal if small in size or show the head and part of the upper body
How to commission a portrait
Choosing a photograph
The quality and result of each portrait depends a lot on the photograph
I am working from.
When choosing a suitable photo please make sure:
- it shows the entire head and top of the shoulders
- it is in focus and evenly lit
- the quality and picture size is good enough to show some detail
Sizes
Due to the detailed nature of my drawings a minimum size is required.
That's why I prefer drawing people at life size. If you would like a bigger or smaller size please let me know and we can discuss the options.
Prices
1 Person
- life size (on A3 paper or slightly bigger) | £350
2 People
- life size (on A2 paper) | £600
Animals
- price depending on type of animal/ head only/ entire animal
Delivery
All artworks are supplied unframed and will be delivered safely as special delivery
Payment
Once a suitable photo has been supplied and the work has been agreed a deposit of 50% is payable at the beginning of the work.
The final payment is due on receipt of the artwork.
